For My Kids' Future - And So Much More
Life is complicated and it is rarely going to be easy. So I want my kids to understand the importance of really committing their minds to something. Even if they try something and don't arrive at the desired result, I want them to know that nothing is lost. Experiences build our resilience, character, grit, toughness, and many other qualities. To me, all that is so important in life.
I don't want them to just give up on themselves.
stepping up as a leader
When you want people to get to know you, you need to step out of our comfort zone and out of the crowd.
Especially as Asians, the natural tendency is to not want to be so showy. We aren’t naturally inclined to want to be on stage. But in a place like Singapore, where there's so many people, you really have to stand up for anyone to really get to know you.
